Using a spoon, place the mixture in a line along one end of each tortilla, then roll them up tightly and secure the ends with a\u003cstrong\u003e toothpick\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eto hold the rolled shape.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch5\u003eSTEP 4\u003c\/h5\u003e\n\u003chr\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cu\u003eShallow frying:\u003c\/u\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp id=\"isPasted\"\u003ePlace a large frying pan over medium-low heat and drizzle in a generous amount of neutral oil. Cook for a few minutes without moving them to ensure the seam seals, then roll them occasionally to cook all sides until golden brown. Set aside on a plate lined with kitchen towel to remove any excess oil. Place in your pre-heated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the shells are crispy.
